STEPS OF MEMBERSHIP
To join our church, one must be saved by grace through faith in Christ alone, baptized by immersion after salvation, attend Discover First and complete a membership interview.

In order to become a member, you need a clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ. Please follow this outline to write your testimony.
Before Christ...
Spend a brief time on “before.” This is not a biography from childhood. It is best to start at a time that relates to your
experience with Christ.
BEFORE I TRUSTED CHRIST, MY LIFE WAS... is required.
I Trusted Christ...
Be as specific as possible about surrendering your life to Christ. What was happening at the time? How did Christ get
your attention? If possible, share the month and year you were saved.
THIS IS HOW, WHEN AND WHY I TRUSTED JESUS CHRIST AS MY SAVIOR... is required.
My Life Now...
Be practical. Explain how Christ has changed your life. Share how you are growing in your walk with Christ.

CHURCH COVENANT
1. Protecting the unity of the Church by:
- Acting in love toward other members
- Refusing to gossip
- Following the appointed leadership of the Church
- When teaching scripture, doctrine, or ethics in a Church group setting, being careful to maintain unity and harmony in the Body through consistency of interpretation with pastoral leadership
2. Sharing in the responsibility of the Church by:
- Praying for its health, unity, and growth
- Sharing the Gospel with unbelievers
- Giving regularly
- Warmly welcoming those who visit and/or who become members
3. Serving in the ministry of the Church by:
- Discovering spiritual gifts and talents, and actively seeking ways to employ them for God's glory
- Being equipped to serve alongside pastors and lay leaders
- Developing a servant's heart and discovering Christ's mission to the world
4. Supporting the testimony of the Church by:
- Attending faithfully
- Living a godly life, free from stumbling blocks to others according to biblical commandments, principles, and examples
